General Terms and Conditions
WWB is an accredited translation service provider with international standard ISO 17100:2015 and Canadian standard CGSB 131.10-2017. WWB follows a strict internal process to guarantee the quality of its work and present its clients with consistently excellent results.
- As an accredited translation and interpreting provider, WWB offers an industry-standard translation process involving professional translators who are certified in Canada with provincial associations for translators and interpreters. When a certified professional is not available for a given language combination, WWB uses a strict industry-compliant selection process to assign the most qualified translator or interpreter to a project to deliver the same level of quality and competence for the service required.
- In compliance with international standard ISO 17100:2015 and Canadian standard CGSB 131.10-2017, WWB translation process is designed for quality assurance. Any given project undergoes translation followed by bilingual revision to guarantee the quality of the final deliverable.
- WWB treats any and all project-related information with the utmost confidentiality within secure storage platforms. All personnel at WWB is bound by the Code of Ethics of the Association of Translators and Interpreters of Alberta (ATIA). Any personal or highly confidential information communicated by the Client may not be disclosed with any people who are not directly involved in the translation process or administrative tasks related to the projects.
- WWB shall provide the client with explanations to help them appreciate the services offered. As per the ATIA Code of Ethics, WWB may terminate an agreement with the client if there are reasonable and fair grounds to do so, including but not limited to, being misled by the client, being induced to commit a fraudulent act, recognizing a conflict of interest that would hinder the professionality of WWB’s services, or if the client refuses to provide payment for the services rendered.
- The client will provide all relevant source texts included in this quote in a timely manner after accepting this quote. Some file formats or low-quality scans may hinder and slow down the translation process. The client is expected to provide the source text(s) in the highest possible quality.
- During the translation process, WWB may follow up with the client to obtain clarifications or resolve ambiguities in the source text. The client acknowledges that they will be available to reply to WWB’s inquiries. If the client is not available to answer follow-up questions in a timely manner, the client acknowledges that the project may be delivered past the deadline included in this quote and WWB will not be held responsible.
